So by now, many of you know I'm sick, but I think it's time I said something more official. I've been diagnosed with Lyme disease after almost 8 years of getting more and more sick. I'm thankful to finally be diagnosed, but I'm by no means better. I appear to have a severe case of it...I'm basically bedridden, and my brain just doesn't work anymore. My husband is nursing me full time and we have other people coming in to help almost every day. I'm not able to design at this point....or scrap!!!...or read...or follow a conversation...
Here's an interesting little documentary on Lyme disease in Canada (which is where I am). Sadly, I can identify with the symptoms as well as the difficulty getting a doctor to believe there was something wrong.
I'm currently being treated with antibiotics and a lot of detoxing, and hope to be back to life again soon. You'll know as soon as I am! We have no reason not to expect a full recovery, eventually, but apparently you just never know. (I wish I could give you more info on my story, but I'm just too tired right now to do that.)
